Men's 1s Water Polo

The most successful sports teams at the University of Bristol to date, the Men's Water Polo 1st team has an outstanding record in University level competition. They are currently the only Bristol team to have won 3 consecutive BUCS Golds.

Coaching
The Men's Water Polo team is coached by Shaun Taylor, son of Commonwealth medal-winning and former GB Water Polo coach Mark Taylor. Shaun has played at the highest level of British water polo in his own rights, and now steps up to coach and develop Bristol's most successful sports team.

Players are also expected to hit the gym in small groups outside the main sessions of the week for strength and conditioning.

The main competition for the men's first team is the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) competition which runs from October until just before Easter. They are also excited to announce home tournaments and abroad tours too add to their match programme with Dublin, Bristol and Serbia lined up for the 2016/17 season
